HOW DOES THE YDPA ROTATION WORK? ( good question Shaz)
the YDPA rotation is predetemined during the Conference of Rulers meeting. The rotation turn cannot be modified, but the rotation can be change due certain reason, in example: the king of the state is demise or unable to perform his duties. therefore, another head of state shall be select during the conference of rulers meeting.
Period of rotation is 5 years services as YDPA per single king. Thus, Malaysia have 9 malay states that have king or sultan ( 9 sultans x 5 years of term)= 45 years to take rotation is complete cycle.
Current YDPA ( Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah) are already 2 time to the throne of YDPA ( its a Malaysian Book of Records)..
sharwin...i guess the members of parliament cannot question parliamentary proceedings in any court because in tat specific parliment...the have their own people in charge who has the authority to make their own law for their political unit...so everything will be solved among themselves in the parliment! :)
